Apparently New American Funding was acting as a middle man between the borrower and the lender. As such there was a lot of back and forth, a lot of information requests and dropped information. It also took considerably longer than expected....

I would have liked New American Funding to cover my $500+ rate lock extension cost (it was only a couple of days and out of my control), I am a returning customer but may not be for future transactions.
