We would have been happy to lock in 5.99% even if it had cost some money up front, but we are hopeful to be able to refinance next year. The other thing that was difficult was not receiving the final number and closing docs until the evening...

complicated rulesfor closing funds from buyer. Need better communication in advance rather than down to the wire with 12 hours to make it work.
