Rather than focusing on any single loan program, his approach is to understand the buyer’s complete situation, evaluate the available options, and build a financing strategy around the buyer’s goals. Education has been a major part of Sean’s career. For more than 15 years, he has taught homebuyer and VA education and has led more than 1,000 classes for consumers, Veterans, service members, and real estate professionals. Sean and Margie Hennessey created HomebuyingFORrookies™, which evolved into HBFR.org™, a homebuyer education platform offering live education on first-time homebuying, VA financing, investment properties, and other residential mortgage strategies. Sean built much of his mortgage career serving Maryland and the greater Washington, DC region before relocating to Tampa, Florida.
