Its was amazing luck the day prior to settlement you discovered the first home had a major leak. The second home is great, no swimming pool in the basement :). Wish you wife and new baby the best of luck.

In your case the 80-10-10 was a great option, getting a lower rate on the first. avoiding MI and now you can pay the second off the minute your current home settles. Have fun over the summer in the new house.Craig
