The experience I had was not due to MJ Lafye's fault. Her service was excellent.

I felt very comfortable with all staff and felt very well taken care of.

It is very difficult with only excellent and OK to chose between. I felt the communication from the staff was sketchy and occasionally incomplete. Thinking about the situation with the social security card. Options were not clearing stated...

We recommended Mary Jo Lafaye to my mother-in-law who needed guidance around the issue of reverse mortgages and would it be something for her to consider. Mary Jo was VERY patient with her and made her feel much better about her financial situation...

Why haven’t you called her or sent your family member/friends to her to help yet?! 😁

mary jo was great, as was her assistant, christine. the refinance required two appraisals. i didn't like the lst appraiser's assessment on the value of my home, which sheundervalued. the 2nd appraiser appraised it at almost $300,000 more.

Mary Jo was wonderful with our reverse mortgage set-up. She came to our house and explained the concept, process and financial details. Then she and her staff guided us through the steps to ensure everything was done properly down to the smallest...
