Jonathan Friedman

Jonathan G. Friedman is Vice President at SterlingRisk, offering a strong background in client relations and overseeing a large portfolio of clients and contacts across multiple industries. A Licensed New York State Insurance Broker, he joined SterlingRisk in 2006, beginning in Employee Benefits Administration and moving on to Programs Administrator before assuming his current position in 2009. With his years of insurance experience, Jonathan is a valued resource in several key sectors, including banking, hospitality, and real estate, where he works with developers, owners, operators, property managers, consultants, and professionals at law and accounting firms. He is most often called upon to provide insight and guidance in insurance liability underwriting, coverage negotiation, loss control, risk transfer, and general insurance consulting. A graduate of Syracuse University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Jonathan played a key role at SterlingRisk during the implementation of a comprehensive, company-wide Values Initiative which continues to reward and recognize employees for upholding the organization’s five core values of Excellence, Care & Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Collaboration. Beyond his immediate responsibilities at SterlingRisk, Jonathan is active in numerous associations and networking groups, including the Professionals of Real Estate Forum and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, where he served as a board member for more than a decade. He continues to participate in and support Yad Vashem, the UJA Federation, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
