Shannon was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. It was here where she attended schools in Charleston County and first settled when she married her high school sweetheart. They moved to Cottageville, where they still reside and are raising their two beautiful daughters. Shannon pursued a career with Elite Property Management in Summerville, SC. Within two months, she knew this was a career field meant for her. She decided to further her education and received her license as a South Carolina Real Estate Property Manager in 1995. In 2004, Shannon was given an opportunity to become the property manager for a private real estate investor in Walterboro, SC. At the time the investor's name held little significance for her since she was not a native of Walterboro. However, after only one day on the job, she learned that working as Paul Walker's Real Estate Assistant was going to be a challenge, but definitely one she was ready for. Paul had hired her to manage his personal real estate, which he had spent 30 years building. This was a huge compliment and a career boost for Shannon. In 2005, she had the desire to continue her education and obtained her South Carolina Real Estate License, and joined RE/MAX Southern Real Estate, where Paul was the broker-in charge. Shannon has set the bar very high for what is expected of an agent. In 2005 She become a S.C. REALTOR, Foreclosure Specialist in Colleton County in 2005, Certified Distressed Property Expert in 2011, received Certificate of Achievement through Leadership Colleton in 2011, Licensed S.C. Commercial Real Estate Agent in 2013, REO Certified in 2016, Awarded in the Executive Club through RE/MAX in 2016 and 2017. Shannon's latest award and most honored, was when She was Voted Best Real Estate Agent in 2017 from the Press and Standard, Readers' Choice Award. Shannon plans to continue to grow and thrive in real estate, and will continue to provided exceptional customer/client service , with her personal touch in an effort to achieve longevity in the real estate industry.
