I worked with Jim and team to secure a mortgage for my primary residence - it was a super smooth experience. 5+ stars for rates, communication, transparency, speed but most importantly: empathy. This experience has set a new standard for me...

Tim was very informative and helpful through the whole process. This was my first time buying a house, so needless to say I had a lot of questions and there was a lot of things that I had to learn throughout the process and Tim guided me through...

In two weeks, I reached out to Jim twice and he did not respond to my inquiry. I emailed Jim to withdraw my application and he responded in less than 6 minutes in an unprofessional manner. I asked Jim to delete my personal documents from the...

I just purchased my first home by myself. As a single female, I had this mentality of buying a home being similar to walking into a car dealership - not being taken seriously by a lender. Michael WAS AMAZING. He answered all my questions -...

Tim made everything so easy and pleasant! He genuinely has his clients best interest in mind. I would recommend him to anyone I know, and don't know. We could not thank him enough.

    About
In 1997, John Walsh started a mortgage company. It was a simple enough decision on its face—after years in the industry, he had the experience, the know-how, and a briefcase full of big ideas. Over the next decade, his company grew from a tiny 3 person shop to a national lender. And when the housing crisis leveled the mortgage industry in 2007, Total Mortgage was one of the few lenders to survive intact. We owe that to a single choice John had made years earlier, as other lenders were making a killing putting borrowers in homes they would never be able to pay for, signing off on the very deals that would lead to the recession. We would only offer people the loans we knew they could afford.
