Inability to secure $6500 CCM grant 2 days before closing forced us to use funds that were earmarked for repairs to the property. We were forced to use those funds at closing. Hot water tank needs replacing. Basement windows need replacing....

I’m very sorry the way things shook out. The grant we were originally offering was through Fannie Mae, not CrossCountry Mortgage. The grant was offered based on where you lived at the time ofpre-approval. Fannie Mae uses a special FIPS code...
