Kate DeKay

Mortgages...UncompliKATEd. Kate deKay is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Eustis Mortgage Corporation, a role she has held since 2013. Kate is the 3rd generation of the Eustis family to work as a mortgage specialist originating loans and assisting homebuyers with loan product selection. Although she has been around the mortgage industry her entire life, Kate’s hard work and dedication to her employees and borrowers has allowed her to advance from the bottom up after joining the company in 2007. Kate’s goal is to help keep New Orleans the great city she loves. That’s why she enjoys assisting people in the greater New Orleans area finance a house that they can call home. She does this by making the mortgage process as straightforward as possible and by providing a high level of customer service. Kate’s approach makes her a trusted source for her clients as they come to her for advice about the mortgage and home buying processes. While Kate remains dedicated to her local, New Orleans clients, she plays a large role in the company restructuring to adapt to the changing world and has been involved in the expansion of the company throughout Louisiana and beyond state borders. Through her leadership, the company has created a corporate platform, Eustis Family of Companies, to support the individual Eustis divisions and loans throughout the states that they serve. All of these changes have been centric about providing buyers outstanding service and employees the support needed to be successful. Kate also has served as president of the Mortgage Lenders Association in New Orleans. Prior to her presidential term, she served on the board as Vice President and other miscellaneous roles for three years. Kate remains an active member of the Association, in addition to serving as a member to the Women’s Council of Realtors. In 2016, Kate was selected by New Orleans CityBusiness as a featured recipient in their Women in Business issue, and also featured as a Mover and Shaker. Always on the go, Kate considers her only “hobbies” to be an enthusiastic and dedicated wife and mother for her kids and dogs.
