Our closing was stressful. Our downpayment was a gift. We were told when we applied for the loan that we would need to fill out the gift form, which we did. However, we were not told that the gift money needed to be wired until we at closing....

My issue was with the lack of communication. Part of our down payment was a gift. We filled out the gifts form and had no request for a wire transfer. My wife I believed they would use the information on the form to obtain the gift money. Unfortunately...
