He graduated with an Aerospace Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. He spent a summer at NASA Langley and then moved to Seattle, WA to work at Boeing. After the better part of a decade and the birth of his first child, his family decided to move back to the East coast to be closer to extended family. It was during this transition that he obtained his real estate broker’s license. While being on that side of the real estate industry for 5 years, he found his true passion was on the mortgage side of the business.
