Insurance has always been a big part of my family. My father was an insurance agent for 27 years after retiring from the Calexico Police Department as a sergeant, and my brother and sister are insurance agents. I was proud to open my El Centro agency in August 2000. It's been an honor to continue the legacy my father created.I was born in El Centro and raised in Calexico before moving back to live and work in El Centro. I love the small-town atmosphere of Imperial Valley. It seems like I know almost everyone here, either from going to school with them, by them knowing my parents or through meeting people at my insurance agency, children's school or sports activities. It's a great place to raise a family!I love staying involved in the community. I support and sponsor the Central Union High School Spartans, El Centro Little League, Sunbeam Little League, IVGSL (Imperial Valley Girls Softball League), Blue Knights California X, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Cancer Resource Center of the Desert, Girl Scouts of the USA, Boy Scouts of America, Miracle Babies and other local clubs and charities. We also sponsor the Sgt. Maeda Memorial Golf Tournament that raises money for scholarships for local law enforcement and fire academy students.When I'm not at the office, I love spending time with family - my husband, Ernie, our two boys, Anthony and Maeda, and our black lab, Sebastian. Some of our favorite things to do and places to go in the area are visiting the Imperial Valley Desert Museum, seeing Aguilas de Mexicali international baseball games, riding motorcycles, fishing, going to high school football games, rooting on the Dodgers and line dancing.I love what I do and think you can see and feel it when you walk into my agency.
