I was born in Dallas, Texas. I obtained my BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at the University of Texas in 1992 and remain an avid Longhorn fan.I received my law degree from Texas Tech in 1995 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in November of that same year.I started my career performing adoptions for foster parents. Then I went to work for the Texas Attorney General's Office, child support division, for 3 years serving in both McAllen, Texas and Fort Worth, Texas.I left there in January 2001 and opened my office in Fort Worth, Texas, concentratingon family law issues.As my clientele aged, I naturally added guardianship and probate to my practice. I am a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association where I consistently serve on the Mentoring Committee, frequently as the Chairman.I am dedicated to helping new attorneys learn to practice law in an ethical and realistic manner.I also serve as a member of several other committees for the Tarrant County Bar, including fee arbitration, holiday planning, Big Brothers and Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and Law Day.I am also a member of the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, Family Law and Probate Law Sections.
