VICTOR FLORES is an associate in the Commercial Litigation and Disputes practice in the firm's New York office. Prior to joining Sidley, Victor was a summer associate for a nationally-recognized civil rights law firm helping to represent plaintiffs subject to law enforcement abuse and workplace harassment. He was also a traveling fellow who participated in community and youth work in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua; a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Public Policy Fellow in Washington, D.C., focusing on Latin America economic policy, trade, healthcare, privacy, and criminal justice; and a supervising paralegal for the Federal Defenders of New York. Victor graduated with his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.A. from Harvard University, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Cornell Law Review and co-founded Cornell Law School's First-Generation Student Association. He is a native Spanish speaker.
