Veronica Lasley

Since 1991, Veronica has built a successful career path within the banking and mortgage lending industries. Having decades of in-depth mortgage platform experience, Veronica has remained successful through the highs and lows of the industry by holding different positions.Veronica started her banking career in the suburbs of Pittsburgh freshly out of high school and at the age of just 18. She worked as a bank teller for two years as she pursued her Associates Degree. Upon graduation, she quickly began to excel within the banking field. Veronica's incredible ability to help people understand why their mortgage payment increased or decreased year to year helped her realize the passion she had for people and the investment they had with their mortgage and their escrow accounts. In 2004, after having managed an escrow department and being the sole contact for servicing mortgages for 5 years, she decided it was time to move to a market that would allow her to become a mortgage loan originator. That's when she left her little hometown and family to move to Orlando where the market was growing at a very fast pace.In 2004, Veronica accepted the role of loan processor as she felt it was the first stepping stone to her career. She then moved into an underwriting role for 5 years to fully understand the guidelines and policies of all the different programs such as FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, portfolio, and DPA products. It was then that she moved into the mortgage lending position, where she quickly grew a book of referral business with a long list of referral partner relationships.Veronica's attention to detail, expertise, professionalism, ability to adapt to the different markets that come and go, and - based on her outstanding reviews - her effective and fast communication are what has kept her successful this entire time. Being able to pre-approve clients with an underwriting mind has been the key to her success. In 2019, she co-founded the networking group BNI Business Partners where she held the positions of President, Vice President, and Education Coordinator.Outside of business, you will find her spending time with her husband, two boxer breed dogs, gardening, hiking, canoeing, and attending different musical concerts.
