Travis Dooley

I was born and raised in North Central Kansas. I grew up on Kansas farms & ranches before moving to southern Colorado in 1995. I worked in my family's farm machinery dealership and attended college on the western slope of Colorado. While living in western Colorado I began a career in law enforcement that spanned nearly 19 years. During that time I had the good fortune to meet people from all around the world, work with people of all different backgrounds, and was able to make positive changes in the communities I served. That ability and opportunity to serve, made my law enforcement career truly rewarding. My wife and I brought our two children back home to Salina in 2017. We have loved getting back to this small town feel and Kansas values that Salina and the surrounding areas have. We have come to appreciate the opportunities and amenities of city life, while still having the strong rural connection we loved about life in the mountains. After leaving law enforcement in early 2021, I began searching for a career that would give me that opportunity to make my community a better place for everyone by serving my hometown. I found a powerful quote by Donald A. Adams that perfectly describes why I believe Real Estate to be my calling... "To give real service, you must give something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity."
