I have been very fortunate to be a lifelong resident of Duluth and from a very large family. Family has been the most important part of my life and I try to spend as much time with them as possible, especially my two daughters and their families. Over the years, I have been involved with several local businesses, raced automobiles professionally, along with owning and managing personal real estate properties. Throughout my racing career I was able to travel the world and learned that not only is the thrill of winning races amazing it requires teamwork, an extreme amount of hard work, dedication, and most importantly communication to get to the podium. These traits are not only important in racing, but in the real estate industry as well! When coupled with my experience of negotiating sponsorship packages for the race team and the competitive nature that is required to bring a deal to the finish line, moving into the real estate industry only seemed natural. With each transaction, I am putting teams of people together to make each deal a success with as little stress as possible! I was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and although it has significantly shrunk, it continues to weigh on my mind every day. Before the diagnosis, I knew the significance of relationships was essential, however, the fight over the past few years has reassured me that family, friendships, loyalty, being true to yourself and the love of God are as important as ever. When I became a Realtor, I took these beliefs with me and today I make sure that each client feels my loyalty and truth because at the end of the day this is, most likely, one of the biggest moments in their life. In my spare time I enjoy spending time on Island Lake, hunting & fishing, engaging with the Boys & Girls Club of the Northland, speaking at cancer support groups as well as volunteering and being a member of Hermantown Community Church. These activities help me to keep grounded and remind me to be thankful for every day. When I represent you my number one goal is to help you cross the finish line stress free! That includes helping you navigate through the real estate process, educate you and create clarity about each portion of the transaction and ultimately getting your property bought or sold!
