Upon graduation from the University of Notre Dame in 1965, I joined my brother, John, and my father, George, at Harding Real Estate which was then located on Newell Street two blocks north of the central business in Woodstock. The firm has moved twice since; to Route 47 and Calhoun Street in 1969, and to subsequently to their current location at 1710 South Eastwood Drive in 1991.My focus has been to develop a real estate company which was driven solely by the needs of the consumer and create and environment of respect for all clients wherein the process of buying and selling real estate is a unique and positive experience. For most Americans home ownership is their largest single investment. A financial commitment that stays with them the majority of their adult life. The Realtor's role should be to create a climate of professionalism for the purchaser and his family. Harding Real Estate's goal has been to manifest a standard excellence in the transactional process based on service and commitment to the consumer.
