Greetings neighbors, it's Tj here!I'm a Clarksville native (one of the few) and it's been astounding to witness the growth in our city from a military town, to a transitory one and finally to a bustling city with businesses competing to call it home.I grew up in a military family but was fortunate enough to spend nearly all of my youth in the same hometown. My mom and dad spent just over two decades in the Army as warrant officers; we even made it into the Leaf Chronicle when they were both deployed during 9/11 leaving us with our extended family. So, I became acquainted with the unpredictable nature and difficulties that putting on the uniform can place on the family very early on. My education took me from Clarksville Academy to West Point, NY, where I graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. My military training was in logistics, but I spent much of my time talking finance and helping soldiers and peers alike think through their financial decisions. It was over these seven years that I developed an appreciation for investing and the power it has when you don't interrupt compounding unnecessarily. I still have that twinkle in my eye when talking about investments, so forgive me if I get a little long winded. I'm thrilled to be an Edward Jones advisor and be in a position where I can build strong relationships and give back to this great city of Clarksville. I like getting up before the sun rises to pray and read my bible, go on morning walks to watch the sun rise with my wife, Emmalei, and throwing ball (really more like fetch) with my three young boys (Eli, Connor and Jack). I'm active as I can be with my church family at LifePoint and a proud member of the small groups team there.
