Tim Sutherland joined Keller Williams La Jolla after a successful and distinguished career as a pilot for Homeland Security. As Director of Air and Marine Operations, based on North Island, Tim developed the ability to manage complex situations while negotiating successful outcomes- all while viewing San Diego's beautiful landscapes from the air and sea.Tim's personal interest in real estate is an extension of his lifelong hobby of buying and lovingly restoring homes that sell in days. He brings this unique "midas touch" and eye for style to all of his clients.As a third generation San Diegan, Tim's grandfather was an original homeowner who settled in Point Loma during the 1920's, serving as president of Security First National Bank downtown. Tim's mother, actress Marla English, starred in numerous Paramount pictures filmed around San Diego and Los Angeles.When Tim isn't flying the coastline or driving the windy backroads in his custom green Porsche 911, you'll find him volunteering with the local community his family helped to build.Tim lives and works in Point Loma with his wife, daughter and beloved tortoise, "Louis Vuitton" who slows him down and keeps him grounded.
