My first job was as a municipal bond trader for Edward Jones. Later, I was a credit analyst at Morgan Stanley with Van Kampen Funds. I worked in downtown Chicago as a proprietary trader with Riverbank Capital Management and Lulu LLC before returning to Edward Jones in 2011 as a financial advisor. My bachelor's degree is from the University of Illinois at Champaign–Urbana, where I studied economics. I have a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from Loyola University of Chicago. I received my CFA® designation in 2016. The CFA® designation, or charter, is earned by individuals who pass three levels of exams and pledge to adhere to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
