Thomas H. Murphy joined Cogan & Power as a partner in July of 2014 after working at another local plaintiffs' personal injury law firm. Over the 11 years thus far that Tom has represented victims of negligence and medical malpractice, he has recovered over $40 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients. Prior to becoming a personal injury lawyer in 2003, Tom was a civil defense lawyer representing hospitals and physicians in medical malpractice cases. While a medical malpractice defense lawyer, Tom learned defense strategies and developed an invaluable skill set that has helped him achieve numerous multimillion dollar results for his clients as a plaintiffs' lawyer.
