Thomas was born and raised in Greenville, SC. and knew from the 10th grade he wanted to be in real estate in some form or fashion. He received a degree in marketing from University of South Carolina and did graduate work at Clemson University in Civil Engineering. After college he moved to Atlanta and worked 4 years with First Nat'l Bank of Atlanta getting to better understand how the financial system works. From there Thomasbecame vice prisident of financewith a large developer working on numerious projects which launched his long awaited dream career in real estate.In 1980 Thomas founder McPherson Associates, Inc. developing and marketing single family homes and condominiums (mcp-a.com) He has since acted as developer, contractor, manager, and broker on numerous projects in Tennessee, Florida and Georgia(watermarklake.com) (mulberrypark.com) as examples.Thomas and his wife of 43 years have lived in both Franklin and the Gallatin, Tennessee area since 2003. They movedto be close to their children and have fallen in love with the Nashville area. He believesNashvilleand the surrounding counties provides excellent value for the money and the present road systems and availablity of water makes this region highly desireable as a permanant destinationfor the 21st century. Thomas his wife live on Old Hickory Lake with their daughter, her husband and twin grand children and he loves reading,boating and sitting out by his lakeside fireplace with family and friends.Thomas' love for real estate and strong desire for seeing clients properly informed concerning their purchase has kept him busy and made him successful.
