Thomas N. Gearhart, Jr., CPA, CTC, CGMA, FACMPE, is Managing Partner at Kozleski CPAs in Woodland Park, Colorado. Mr. Gearhart was CEO of Close Scrutiny, Inc., an international consulting firm established to help other accountants understand industry metrics and strategic planning facilitation techniques. During his thirty-five plus years in accounting and consulting, Thom has focused on helping organizations and individuals and organizations achieve their objectives. Mr. Gearhart was managing partner at DLMG Accountants+Advisors, a regional CPA firm headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was instrumental in the firm's Healthcare Consulting Division. He works closely with other healthcare consultants around the nation to assist in providing quality services to physicians, medical groups, hospitals and other organizations as they develop strategies for sound management for the future. Thom has published articles in regional publications and is frequently asked to speak on a variety of healthcare topics including decision support system development, physician and hospital affiliations, practice operations, and strategic planning. He is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, American Institute of CPAs, Colorado Society of CPA's, holds active CPA licenses in Colorado and Illinois, and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
