Eric is Sucharski Law Firm, LLC’s founder and principal owner, primarily engaged in the practice of family law. With both trial litigation experience and proven success in negotiating strategic settlement of challenging family law matters, Eric implements a measured tactical approach through knowledge and application of the law and empathetic understanding of the needs of clients and their families, while focusing on good faith negotiations with opposing parties and their counsels. Eric’s professional philosophy strategically manages what may become complex emotional and financial issues in this highly sensitive area of legal practice.   Eric graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served for 9 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander before leaving military service. After more than a decade of experience as a senior corporate executive, he attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. His many years of military/corporate leadership experience, coupled with his personal experiences, offers clients a unique perspective regarding how to approach and negotiate settlement of very challenging impasses that parties in family law matters face.   Having experienced his own divorce over 20 years ago with young children as a non-attorney, Eric understands firsthand the emotions, concerns and uncertainty that can accompany family law legal matters. His primary objective in all cases is to professionally streamline the process as much as is possible to obtain the most favorable outcome for his clients.
