Tesha Thornton is from New York City and has resided in the Hampton Roads area for over 25 years. After attending college, she enlisted in the Virginia Air National Guard where she completed 20 years of service. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Counseling. She began her career in the human services field where she held various positions working with children and families. In 2015, she obtained licensure as a therapist and has served the community nurturing their mental health and overall well being. Being a therapist and serving in the military has laid the foundation for Ms. Thornton to gain exceptional skills in dealing with people as she has worked with individuals of all backgrounds. Her passion for helping others achieve their optimal well being contributed to the idea of a second career as a real estate agent. In 2023, she obtained her real estate license and is excited to embark on this new venture. Ms. Thornton prides herself on having a strong work ethic, being tenacious and eager to provide exceptional service to anyone she is graced to work with. She is patient and will demonstrate positive regard for every client by ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease with the process of buying and selling their homes.
