Terry brings over 25 years of practical yet innovative experience to the real estate arena. Terry has a keen understanding of the client's needs and quickly develops a plan to make the client's vision a reality. Terry is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in real-property law for business, commercial, industrial, and residential transactions. Terry's law practice includes primarily commercial real estate law, business and corporate transactions, local governmental entities and authorities, tax-exempt organizations, wills and trusts, and estate planning. Terry has a broad range of transactional experience including complex asset sales and purchases, and experience with work outs of troubled loan situations. She also has extensive experience with municipal and county land-use planning issues such as zoning. She is the attorney for the Hickory-Conover Tourism Development Authority, the Western Piedmont Regional Transit Authority (Greenway Transit), and has served as the Town Attorney for the Town of Sawmills since 1988.
