I have been active in the Real Estate Industry for over 32 years. I have been in the lending side of the industry for over 28 years. Below is a list of my Real Estate & Finance background: * 1987-1989 - Norris, Beggs & Simpson Commercial Real Estate Firm - Industrial sales & leasing. * 1990 - 1991 - Kapalua Realty, Maui, HI. Sold the Plantation Estates Development for Maui Land & Pineapple Company. * 1991-1997 - Partner and top loan officer with Michael Soon & Associates. Real Estate and Mortgage Company located in Lafayette and Walnut Creek, CA. * 1997 - 2010 - In-house loan officer for Prudential California Realty (Mason McDuffie)/ Better Homes and Gardens. During this time I worked as the in-house loan officer for various joint venture partners of the real estate company (Western American Mortgage, The Home Loan Group, Chase, Prospect Mortgage, Bank of Commerce Mortgage and Residential Pacific Mortgage). I was a top producer for all of these firms and funded over $350 million during my tenure with these companies. * 2011 - 2012 - I was with Pacific Funding Group who was partnered with Prudential California Realty (Pearson Properties). I worked as the Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill Prudential in-house loan officer. * 2012 - 2016 I worked for Diversified Capital Funding who has been long time lending partner with J. Rockcliff Realtors. I was the in-house lender for the Walnut Creek office for J. Rockcliff, while also working with many outside realtors. * 2016 - Present - I have recently accepted the position of Sales Manager and Loan Officer for Bay Area Funding Group. Bay Area Funding Group is a mortgage brokerage company that has re-started after 10 years. They are the exclusive in-house lender for RE/MAX Accord Real Estate offices in the East Bay Area. I will be working out of their Walnut Creek office. Because of my diverse background in real estate, I bring a very thorough perspective to the loan process. I have been an owner/partner of a company, worked with numerous businesses in commercial real estate lease and purchase transactions, worked with large real estate developers and have assisted many clients of all socio-economic levels with mortgage financing over the past 25 years. I have experienced very poor markets as well as a few real estate booms.
