Taylor is a native of Richmond and a graduate of Thomas Dale High School, Hampden-Sydney College and the University of Richmond Law School. While in law school, he served as Student Bar President and won the Carrico Moot Court Competition. After his graduation from law school, Taylor became an associate at Bremner & Janus. He gained experience as a criminal defense and family law attorney by working directly with his senior partner, Murray J. Janus. This experience enables him to effectively represent clients in state and federal court. He represents clients in criminal, traffic and family law cases in courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Courts. He has handled appeals in the United States Supreme Court, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Virginia and Court of Appeals of Virginia. Taylor is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, Supreme Court of Virginia, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
