As an accomplished Certified Public Accountant, I observed the world through creative eyes, sensed nuances and appreciated both form and function. My position required leadership, perseverance, tenacity and negotiation, and communication skills as I worked with high profile and international clients. Today as a Real Estate professional, I bring that same skill and talent to an equally broad spectrum of clients. As a Real Estate Agent, a Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE), Mortgage Forgiveness Program Specialists (MFPS) and a Tax Advisor, I offer my clients an outstanding level of service and can also assist homeowners who may be at risk of foreclosure or who have an upside mortgage loan (meaning that the home cost more than it is worth). My formal education and training in the United States and Europe in harmony with my many years of purchasing, owning and selling property, allows me to excel at every level of the real estate transaction. Prior to earning my Real Estate license, and after studying Auditing and Accounting at the University of Washington DC and University of Maryland, I became a Certified Public Accountant and recently was appointed the Treasurer for the Women's Council of Realtors for Prince Georges County, MD. I am also a VIP member with the National Association for Professional Women. Born in Washington DC, both of my parents are from the south. My father was in the Military and my mother a Registered Nurse was more of a stay at home mom. Both of my parents wanted their children to have a worldly education. As such I spent 16 years of my younger years living and attending schools in various countries overseas. I am a Military child, wife and mother to a Marine Captain who graduated from the Naval Academy.My husband and I have raised three children, who all have successful careers. We have five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
