Susan Kwok Annoura is a native of Houston, TX, where her parents moved when she was 2 years old to work for NASA's Johnson Space Center. After graduating from Clear Lake High School, Susan attended Baylor University, graduating Cum Laude with a BA Business degree and Certification in Asian Studies. In 1994, Susan moved to Fukuoka, Japan at the age of 22 where she worked as a radio personality for 9 years on LOVE FM 76.1, hosting various live radio programs including the Top 40 Countdown. While in Japan, she married Koh Annoura, a professional KEIRIN bicycle racer, obtained her Masters degree in Education from Temple University Japan, and had two sons, Joe and Ty. After 14 years of living in Japan, Susan and her family moved back to Houston, where she immediately obtained her real estate license and began her life work of helping international families relocate to Houston. She worked two years at a big brokerage, and in 2010, she obtained her Texas broker's license and opened Annoura Realty Group, LLC. Fast forward 11 years to 2021 and Annoura Realty Group is now the largest real estate company in Houston specializing in Japanese expat relocation. We have five Japanese speaking licensees, as well as one agent who speaks Mandarin Chinese. We also offer full service property management to our investor clients, utilizing Appfolio software for rent collections, maintenance requests, and financial statements. On the volunteer front, Susan is an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors, having served on the international advisory group for 10 years and as the group's chairwoman in 2018. She is also an active member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's international committee and was the Japanese interpreter for the BBQ Cookoff's International Village. Susan is a member of the US Japan Council, the Asian Real Estate Association of America, the Japanese Business Association of Houston, and Gateway Community Church. Susan is the 2022 President of the Womens Council of Realtors Houston and will serve as the 2022 Vice Chairman of the Texas Realtors Global Committee. Susan lives in Clear Lake City with her husband Koh and their now three sons (Zachary was born in 2012). She works tirelessly for her clients and can be reached at almost any hour of the day, every day of the week.
