A lover of all things Tahoe, Susan Safipour has a unique perspective on her specialty, selling North Lake Tahoe's vacation homes. Before moving up to the mountains from the Bay Area to join Engel & Volkers Truckee, she and her family skied and golfed at all of Tahoe's luxury resorts. In 2007, they found the cabin of their dreams at Northstar. During the week, Susan was the editor-in-chief of award-winning luxury lifestyle publications in the Bay Area, including Diablo and Napa Sonoma magazines. But on weekends, she was hiking to Brockway Summit to soak up the view of Lake Tahoe or swooshing down the slopes and roasting s'mores by the fire pits apres ski. From her 20-plus years of spending every possible vacation minute in Tahoe, Susan came to know the region well - by living it first-hand. Early on, she also determined to share her love of Tahoe with her Bay Area friends, arranging annual sailing, river rafting and hiking trips that brought as many as 20 families up to Tahoe for a weekend. She was also a founding member of Northstar's Ski Team Foundation. Now, as a full-time resident and real estate advisor, Susan is delighted to be helping others find the home of their dreams in this welcoming and fun community.
