I entered the real estate industry almost by accident in the mid 80s. I worked for 15 years for a Fortune 500 retailer, beginning as a Manager Trainee in Mobile, Alabama and having my career peak as Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Real Estate, Construction and Store Development in New York City. As a result I became deeply involved in negotiating and re-negotiating leases with retail mall ownership groups, as well as selling company real estate holdings to developers in New York City for huge profits. I was mentored by some renowned business leaders in a pressure cooker setting that demanded success. I left New York to move closer to family. I earned my Florida Real Estate License in 1994 in Panama City Florida and began business in Florida. I became involved in the Student Loan Financial Service Industry for almost 5 years, while still working in real estate with a partner. My family moved back to Jacksonville in 2000, and I partnered with Ron Courchaine. Since then I have been involved in Residential & Commercial Sales, Brokerage Management, Referral and Relocation Brokerage, and as a Real Estate Education provider. I am currently a member of The Courchaine Team primarily focused on Commercial and Investment real estate brokerage. I am a Broker-Associate with the Watson Intracoastal Office. Due to the fact that I teach real estate licensing courses and our Commercial and past customers expect our team to handle ALL of their real estate needs, I specialize in providing Effective and Creative Marketing Plans for Residential Sellers. I keep my Seller updated weekly during the marketing and pre-closing process. I assist Residential Buyers by analyzing the New Construction and Re-Sale options in meeting their specific needs. I educate my customers regarding their different options, and then facilitate the sale and closing. I communicate with them throughout the process and following the closing.
