She spent the next 15 years of her career as a real estate marketing executive for several top homebuilders, overseeing both the Charlotte and Raleigh markets. Steven was born in Jonesboro, GA but moved to Charlotte when his father, a minister, was called to St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Steven's career has been rooted in sales, but he has always had a love for homes. After many years in the beer and wine business, he made the switch to real estate where he was rookie of the year. Since then, Steven has been with Allen Tate, representing both buyers and sellers throughout the Charlotte metro area. Marie became his business partner in 2019, after making the difficult decision to leave her job position as VP of marketing with Taylor Morrison Homes." The plan was to join Steven once the boys went to college but after six years of constant traveling and being gone all the time, the Mommy guilt began taking over my love of the job. My priorities just changed," she explains.
