I have personal and first hand knowledge of most of the school district as well as the schools in the Rio Grande Valley. I also know the struggle it is to move from one place to another. I am here to be that trusted advisor who can and will to the best of my ability, help you with your transition. I moved to the Rio Grande Valley after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, in 1994. I graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Rehabilitation with a minor in Accounting. My specialty was orientation and mobility services. I am trained to provide services to children and adults that are blind or visually impaired to train them to use their residual vision and/or a long white cane to travel in their home, their residential area, and in the community. I worked for Region One ESC as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist / Educational Consultant for 8 years. My work took me to almost every school district from the Island to Laredo and everywhere in between. In all I have probably worked on close to 250 campuses in the Valley area. In 2002, I started my own company contracting with school districts and state agencies around the state of Texas. I have worked with the Texas School for the Blind on special projects and have helped 14 other school districts in north Texas with their needs. I still continue my work with children with visual impairments as a ministry here in the Valley, northern Mexico, and will be branching out into other parts of the world. I became interested in Real Estate as a profession after buying my second home. I enjoyed the process and wanted to pursue that passion. I took the classes, passed my test and started working with a large franchise company in August of 2007. After 14 years working in Special Education, I have learned to listen to my clients needs and desires. I have learned to anticipate their needs and fill them quickly. Growing up, my family moved about 8 times and we lived in most of Texas as well as New Mexico during my school age years. I understand the stress of the process and the move. I understand the transition to a new location. I am married to my wife Georgina. She is originally from Monterrey, Mexico, and we have 4 beautiful children that bring great joy to my life. Isabella is 10, David is 8, Rebeca is 6, and Daniel is 2 years old (as of February 2010). We are active members of Baptist Temple and we homeschool our children.
