Stephanie Abbott

Growing up as an Air Force kid, I was fortunate to experience a wide variety of cultures living in many places including Europe. After landing in Overland Park, Kansas with the goal of starting my college education, I attended Johnson County Community College where I earned an Associates of Applied Science degree in Interior Design. Upon graduation, I was offered an exciting opportunity to be part of the design team at a healthcare facility as a Computer Aided Drafter and Interior Designer. We created floor plans using AutoCad software for remodel projects within the hospital and other buildings alike. The projects consisted of all phases of the design concept; from demolition to installation; followed by selecting fabrics and finishes for the furniture in the newly designed interior space. I learned how to be a part of the design team working closely with tradesmen and generating project schedules that included plumbing, lighting, paint, materials, cabinetry and hardware. While gaining valuable experience as an Interior Designer, I continued to pursue a Bachelor of Art's degree in Management with a minor in Marketing at Ottawa University. Due to my ambitious nature and love for learning; I also obtained a Master's degree in Strategic Leadership from Stephen's College located in Columbia, Missouri. After graduation I decided to get my license as a REALTOR not only in Kansas, but in Missouri and Florida as well. The relevant work experience, passion for real estate, people and education combined allow me to provide exceptional customer service to my clients as a REALTOR through the real property buying and selling processes. I recognize and value the trust my clients place in me; I strive every day to exceed their expectations with intentions of building healthy, life-long relationships.
