Sharon Williams moved to Virginia in 1991, to serve in the Virginia Army National Guard, with a combination of 25 years of service in the Army and Federal Government. Sharon received a Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medals, and several Army Achievement Awards. Sharon served with the State Headquarters with the medical unit, as a Health System Specialist. Sharon graduated from Bluefield College, with a Bachelor of Science, in the Human Service Field. Sharon is a member of Saint Paul's Baptist Church, in Richmond VA. Sharon worked with foster children for several years. Sharon lives with her husband in McKenney, VA. She enjoy sports, arts and crafts, yoga, and spending quality time with family members and friends. Sharon believes that integrity, character, and honesty create great relationships. Helping others is extremely important to Sharon; improving communities and assisting someone else in achieving their goals is extremely satisfying.
