I made my own bridge of success from Kauai'i to the great state of Texas: Growing up on the island of Kauai'i I've had the opportunity of adventuring its rugged beauty since a teenager. After high school I decided to work for the state parks division of DLNR maintaining the 11 mile Kalalau trail along the majestic Na Pali coast. A place where Kauai'i hides its most innermost secrets. This is where I learned respect and humility for Kauai's raw mysterious beauty. From rappelling out of helicopters to remote locations along coastlines to the heart of the island I was able to do conservation work and witness such beauty not often seen by others.
