By doing this, I can better tailor a retirement savings strategy, so you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do.I attended Radford University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science in 2012. While in college, I enlisted as an infantryman in the Virginia Army National Guard and have enjoyed over 16 years of military service. Currently, I serve as First Sergeant of a Light Infantry Company A-Co 3-116th. That same dedication to cause and service is a mindset I carry forward in my career at Edward Jones while serving my clients.My wife, Ashleigh, and I have five children (two sets of twins aged 5 and 3, in addition to a 9 year old). Originally from Southampton County, my family and I have lived in West Point, Virginia, since 2019. I am an active member of my community, currently serving as the president of the West Point Chamber of Commerce and also as president of the Rotary Club of West Point, in addition to serving on the board of directors for the Historical Society of West Point and the New Kent Chamber of Commerce. I also currently serve on the Membership Committee and the Military Affairs Committee for the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, and recently honored as being selected to serve on the King William County VA250 Committee.During our initial visit, I will ask several questions and I will listen to the answers and clarify them so that I can truly understand my clients' needs and subsequent goals. I then get to know their risk tolerances and experience levels to truly understand the most appropriate strategies to meet their needs. I have found that my clients really appreciate the time that I take to educate them on the strategies and investments we will be using, which in turn, helps them feel more comfortable when making decisions.
