Originally from Virginia Beach, Sam grew up vacationing to the Outer Banks and fell in love with the lifestyle, magical culture of the island, and strenth of this community. At 18, she moved to the Outer Banks seasonally to be an oceanfront lifeguard while attending James Madison University. After graduating, she moved to the Outer Banks permanently and has been a member of the community ever since. Sam bought her first home in 2020 and turned the downstairs unit into an Airbnb with her father.
