Sallie Abreu is a native of Danville. After graduating from G.W.H.S., Sallie majored in Economics / Business and earned a B.A. from Queens College in Charlotte, where she also worked for two years as a college admissions counselor. From there, Sallie went on to earn an M.B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, with concentrations in Marketing and Management. After graduation and a year of working in Florida, Sallie and her husband, Luis, chose to live in Danville to raise a family, work, and enjoy their friends and community. Sallie and Luis have two married daughters Sarah and Maria, and two granddaughters. Sallie is a licensed associate broker in Virginia, she is a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), has earned the E-PRO Technology Certification designation, is an ASP, Accredited Staging Professional, 2006 Dan River Region Association of Realtors Rookie of the Year, 2007-2021, DRRAR Honor Society member, 2010- 2012 VAR Honor Society, 2013 President of the Dan River Region Association of Realtors, and 2013 Realtor of the Year.
