After spending 20 years in education as a teacher, coach and administrator, I contemplated making a career change to better assist my family. I knew I wanted to continue to have an impact on families and still had a passion for teaching. While I was an Edward Jones client, I was encouraged to make the career change and I could not be happier. After spending so much time in education, it was an easy transition to being a financial advisor with a teacher's heart. I serve as a "pilot", helping my clients navigate through their financial futures. I am excited to say that fulfilling my passion for teaching has allowed me to continue helping families and businesses make financial decisions and help them understand the process along the way. Being a financial advisor has introduced me to so many wonderful families in our community. I work with investors of all types including teachers, administrators, small business owners, medical field personnel and retired individuals. What I value most is getting to know each family and I feel that I become much more than just a financial advisor. Our first meeting always begins with, "tell me about you and your family." Once I understand more about your situation, we partner together to work toward your goals. I came to Edward Jones after teaching and coaching for 20 years. I taught middle school and high school and was also an administrator at the high school level. Coaching was always a passion of mine and I coached multiple sports over a 20-year span. After playing college basketball, it became apparent that I wanted to continue in the sport I loved. For 17 years, I fulfilled that dream as a basketball coach at Mishawaka High School. I was born and raised in Mishawaka and have called it home since 1975. I am married to my wife, Karin, and we have four children, all boys, named Kellen, Quinn, Griffin and Grady. In our leisure time, we enjoy attending sporting events, camping and spending time with our children.
