About

I worked 30 years in the legal arena, the last 20 as a litigation paralegal and litigation support services business owner in Austin, Texas. My family moved to Raleigh, NC, and I received my real estate license in March of 2012. I then worked for a law firm as a real estate paralegal for one full year while I built my business. Real estate is my full time career - and I am extremely passionate about it. God has placed me exactly where I should be! I have my Broker-In-Charge license and have established Ruth Payne Real Estate Services, LLC. I was a board member on the Rolesville Planning Committee until moving to Wake Forest. I currently sit as a board member of the Wake County Board of Equalization and Review (Appraisal Review) which has been extremely helpful in determining the fair market value of homes in my area. I represent both buyers and sellers - and I know my experience serves them well. I have been married 32 years to Tracy - an environmental geologist - and we have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Needless to say, our cup runneth over!
