I chose to become a financial advisor with Edward Jones to be able to help motivated, like-minded individuals and families by taking the time to understand what is important to my clients, to do what is right for them and partner with them to help them reach their goals and dreams. That to me is the most rewarding part of my job, and that passion to help others is what drives me day in and day out.In 2000, I began my career in financial services at a large bank in South Africa, after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of West London and a Post-Graduate Honors degree in commerce at the University of Johannesburg. I then set a long-term goal of completing an MBA in the United States. After years of saving and planning, I reached my goal and graduated from Northern Arizona University's College of Business with an MBA in finance in 2004. For many years, I worked in commercial banking as a senior relationship manager vice president, which established the foundation for me to grow my own business as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER® certification in 2022 was an incredibly challenging and rewarding experience. Becoming a CFP® professional expands a financial advisor's knowledge base in the areas of financial management, tax-sensitive investment strategies, retirement savings, insurance planning, education planning and estate considerations. I am committed to continuous learning as I serve my clients in achieving their financial goals. I have two boys, and we love living in Flagstaff! We hike, camp, mountain bike, ski and enjoy attending local community and charity events. Various sports, such as soccer, rugby and baseball, keep us busy. I am joined by Alexa Hernandez, branch office administrator, who has been with Edward Jones since July 2025 and brings with her a degree from Northern Arizona University, a strong background in hospitality customer service and a passion for serving you, our clients.I look forward to getting to know you better.
