My Client-First Philosophy There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. That said, in my experience as a Raleigh real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. My wife, Sally, and I are long time "veterans" of the real estate field. I began selling homes in and around the small community of Lizard Lick, North Carolina in 1983. I have seen many changes in the real estate industry and I still firmly believe that real estate is a SOUND INVESTMENT. The enjoyment that you achieve when finding that "perfect home" for a client cannot be measured. We believe that if you treat people right, things always work out for the best. I am also a developer and have had much success in communities in Eastern Wake County. Some of my accomplishments are Deer Creek, Ramsey Farms, Coldwater Springs and the newest development, Sunset Manor and currently Jackson Plantation. Sally and I have been blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren. Having our family involved in our business is something we enjoy. Kim Wimberly, our daughter and her husband, Rodney, work with us as Broker Associates. Our son, Chris Watt, and his wife, Jessica, help out in our businesses. We have obtained our General Contractors license through Watt Development Bldg Corp. Another role that Sally and I enjoy the best is being GRANDPARENTS!
