Mr. Valencia has been practicing law since 1983 and is the managing partner of the firm. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1979. He continued his education at the University of California Hastings College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1983. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, and Santa Clara County Bar Association. Mr. Valencia is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. He is a certified specialist in workers' compensation law and is a Judge Pro Tempore at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. He has conducted numerous seminars on workers' compensation law and has expertise in social security law. His practice focuses on workers' compensation defense, including Serious and Willful Misconduct claims, and Labor Code Section 132a claims.
