Ronetta Sykes

Ronetta Sykes was born and raised in Hampton Roads. She has always had a passion to empower people. She has a strong background and experience in diverse areas including banking, real estate, property management, and financial services. Ronetta has served as a Housing Counselor with Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, providing education and outreach to tenants and home buyers in preparation for homeownership. She has offered debt and financial management counseling and assisted with mortgage default resolution. Ronetta was an Agent and Property Manager with Rose & Womble Realty, assisting clients in locating, negotiating, and purchasing a new home and also managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties in Hampton Roads. In her current career as a loan originator with First Home Mortgage Corporation, Ronetta proudly works with buyers to secure financing to purchase a home, as well as homeowners offering, refinance options. She is a dedicated and committed member of the community and serves as a board member and treasurer for Virginia Housing and Community Development Corporation. She is also a qualified trainer with VHDA where she seeks opportunities to educate the public about homeownership and home financing.
