Mr. Dain has extensive experience in State and Federal Courts throughout the State of Virginia involving business and personal litigation. He has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants, Corporations and individuals in claims exceeding millions of dollars and has been involved in complex business matters rendering legal advice, including criminal matters. In 1999 Mr. Dain was one of the founding Shareholders and was a Director of Millennium National Bank of Reston, Virginia and his law firm served as their General Counsel; he also was one of the founding shareholders of Patriot National Bank and was Chairman of the Advisory Board of Patriot National Bank from 1990 to 1997 in Reston, Virginia. He is one of the founding stockholders of Main Street Bank, Herndon, Virginia, and provides commercial and residential services through his title company, Franklin Title Company, LLC. He is a founding Partner of Dain, Walker, Sobhani and Nicoli, P.L.L.C. in Reston, Virginia. Mr. Dain served as General Counsel to Mortgage Edge Corporation, Dulles, Virginia, from December 1, 2000 to January 1, 2002, providing legal counsel in all areas of mortgage banking, including State licensing, Federal and State regulatory matters, HUD, VA, FHA compliance issues; responsibilities included managing all litigation for and against the company with outside counsel, implementation of strategy and conflict resolution; budget proposals; providing advice and counsel to the President, CFO and Director on all business matters, including executive contracts, non compete agreements, human resource issues, property management and administrative hearings involving the company. As a founder and Director of Millennium Bank, a listed public company for four years, he was involved in many federal regulatory and business decisions serving on numerous Director committees, including, audit, budget and asset liability, compensation and litigation. Mr. Dain provides consulting services to Mortgage Companies encompassing his areas of expertise. His trial experience has involved domestic disputes, criminal felonies and misdemeanors, civil litigation, real estate, foreclosures, personal injury law, contract disputes, corporation litigation, family law, shareholder disputes and many other areas in business and individual representation. He has had over forty jury trials during his legal career. Mr. Dain has been qualified to testify as an expert witness in the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia before the Honorable Judge David S. Schell.
