I came to The United States from England in 1979. On arriving in the USA I began investing in Real Estate again, and obtained his Real Estate license in 1984, selling mostly vineyards, orchards and orange groves in the Central Valley of California. I married my bride, Nora, in 1981 and have two wonderful children Elliot, who is an officer in the US Army and Lauren works as a team leader with Robert Slack Fine Homes. We moved to Florida in 1996 and purchased Stoneriggs Farm on CR 326 and operated it as a full service boarding, breeding and training thoroughbred farm In 1996, Robert purchased a thoroughbred horse farm in Ocala, Florida and named it Stoneriggs Farm, the same name of his family's farm in the North of England, and developed it into one of the best known farms in the Ocala, FL and across the US.. While at the farm we bred and raised many good racehorses, the best of which was Meadow Breeze who won the Grade 1 Matron Stakes at Belmont Park. Upon selling the farm in 2006 Robert decided to go back into Real Estate, with the intent of opening his own Real Estate Brokerage, which he did in 2014, developing it in a short time into one of the most innovative and highly respected Brokerages in Florida, with agents and offices across the state. Robert Slack Fine Homes, specializing in assisting buyers, from all over the world purchase their dream home in the sun in Florida.
